Pneuma is an electronic assemblage consisting of a copper-leafed computer server rack. Inside is a computer that is producing sounds and vibrations which re-arrange fine quartz silica as Chladni patterns on an anodized aluminium plate. The quartz silica (a variety of sand which is the raw material used in the fabrication of fiber optic cables), reconfigures itself into a new Chladni pattern every time anyone on Earth makes a bitcoin transaction of one million dollars or more. The plate is constantly surveilled by a camera installed in the server-rack, which reads the blue plate and quartz silica as a ‘heightmap‘. This heightmap is used to produce the 3D digital landscape which is displayed in real-time on a hologram video fan floating above the sculpture.

“Pneuma”（普纽马）是一件电子装置作品，主体是一个贴有铜箔的电脑服务器机柜。

机柜内部的计算机持续发出声音与振动，驱使细密的石英硅砂在一张阳极氧化铝板上排列成不同的“克拉尼图案”（以数学家克拉尼命名的声波振动图案）。每当地球上发生一笔百万美元或以上的比特币交易，这种石英硅砂（光纤电缆的基础原料）便会自行重组，形成全新的图案。与此同时，机柜内的一台摄像头持续监测着铝板表面，将蓝色铝板与硅砂的起伏读取为一张“高度图”。随后，这张高度图被用于生成3D数字景观，并实时显示在悬浮于雕塑上方的一个全息视频风扇上。
